FIPS mode without validation
What changes in FIPS mode without validation compared with MongoDB and what your application has to do.
This difference is of the Different kind.
What MongoDB does
With a validated OpenSSL, FIPS mode uses a validated cryptographic module.
What TeselaDB does
FIPS mode restricts the algorithms as a validated module would. TeselaDB is not a FIPS 140-3 validated module.
What your application has to do
If a regulation requires a FIPS 140-3 validated module, TeselaDB does not meet it.
