Scores with collection-wide statistics

What changes in Scores with collection-wide statistics compared with MongoDB and what your application has to do.

This difference is of the Stronger guarantee kind.

What MongoDB does

In a sharded cluster, each shard scores with its own statistics, so the score depends on how data is spread.

What TeselaDB does

Scores use the statistics of the whole collection and match those of a MongoDB replica set with the same documents.

What your application has to do

Nothing. Scores do not change when data is spread differently.
