compact and autoCompact on any node
What changes in compact and autoCompact on any node compared with MongoDB and what your application has to do.
This difference is of the Extension kind.
What MongoDB does
A mongos refuses compact and autoCompact.
What TeselaDB does
Any node accepts them. compact requires force: true and returns bytesFreed: 0, because storage compacts continuously; autoCompact is accepted with no effect.
What your application has to do
Do not schedule compact. It frees no space because none needs freeing.
