The first TeselaDB release ships as a Docker image and as a single binary for Linux x86_64, Linux aarch64 and macOS Apple Silicon. Linux is for production; macOS, for development, with no latency guarantees.

What it brings

  • The MongoDB 9.0 protocol, with the official drivers and mongosh.
  • Ranges that split and merge on their own while the cluster spreads them across the nodes.
  • Multi-document transactions across ranges, with snapshot isolation.
  • $text, $search and $vectorSearch on the server, with no separate search process.
  • TLS, users, roles, encryption at rest and auditing from the first start.
  • A REST API with OpenAPI 3.1 and an MCP server for agents.

How long it is maintained

Releases are numbered MAJOR.MINOR.PATCH. The latest minor release and the one before it get patches; the versioning and support policy explains it. The full notes are in Release notes for 0.1.0, and the download, on the download page.
